Here is an example where a student (Eliana 5 y.o.) is being taught to listen attentively to the musical texture of the one-voice melody and to obtain not only an exact realization of the musical text and its correct phrasing, but also an intelligent reproduction of the content of the piece and its musical character. Here are a few words on how it can be done in six steps:                                                                                                                                               Step 1 - learn the words of the song.
